Yesterday was nuts, as Tuesdays around here normally are. Brannon has to work every Saturday, so Tuesdays around here are our Saturdays. Brannon started his day with a Stress test at St. Johns. That is never a good time for him. He can't get his heart rate up on the tread mill because of the heart medication he is on, so they have to raise his heart rate with medication. It is horrible for him. The medication just makes his heart race even though he is just sitting there. Afterwards it leaves him completely winded.

While he was at his stress test I had Jake at the ortho. Jacob needs braces. We knew that he would need them. It's a pretty penny. I talked with Gretchen last night and told her what the ortho told me in regards to price and payment plans. We have to come up with 300 dollars for the xrays and impressions, and then the total bill is about 5400. We need to come up with 1800 right off the top, and Robert has insurance until January, which would take an additional 1500 off the top. The 300 doesn't scare me, it's the 1800 I am having a hard time with. Ouch. Robert didn't even call me last night. I don't know what he is thinking. Silence is not the answer though. I guess I'll have to ride his ass about it tonight. Yuck.

After Brannon and I got home from the unpleasantness, he started working on my shelves. They are done. They look wonderful. After he got all the bracket hung yesterday we went to Lowe's and bought new boards. Now they are ready to paint. We are going to paint the entire office, I just need to go to Sherwin Williams and pick a color. The shelves are going to be painted the same color as the walls so that they look as built in as they can. Before we do that though, Brannon was talking about building the kids a built in computer/work station underneath the shelves. I think it's a great idea and I can't wait to get started on that. He said it wouldn't take much effort. So before we paint, he will build the workstation. I am very excited about this.

We need to work on the tile in the bathroom as well. Time is just not our friend. He works such long days. He doesn't normally get to my house until about 7:30 most nights. It really sucks. I'm not complaining (well maybe a little bit) but when you are trying to get things done, it just seems like a royal pain in the ass.

Tomorrow is moving day for Brannon. He needs to switch his utilities over to the new place today. The land lady won't give him the keys to his new place until CU is in his name there. She is a paranoid woman, but sweet. Tomorrow I am taking Brannon's truck, he gets to drive the goobermobile. I don't understand why minivans get such a bad rap. They are wonderful for transporting kids. They are good for lots of things. No one wants to be caught dead in one though. Whatever.

Happy Halloween. Mike is picking up the kids after school today and taking Jake to get a costume. I have been so stupid busy with this bracelet order for a store, and with all the work we've been doing around the house the last while, seems like I don't even have time to pee...

...my 10 minutes are up. I am 12 minutes into this. I guess I'll wrap it up. Time to get the kiddos up and at em.
