Today my do list is long. I have to find homeowners insurance for the new house. I have several people to call, its just a matter of getting around to do it. I need to book Lauren's birthday party. She has decided that she would like to have a swimming party again this year. Swimming in the middle of winter is just plain wonderful. The water at the pool is always so warm and its a great break from the winter blahs. What else, oh yeah, keep packing. I didn't pack anything yesterday, I was taking a break. Monday wore me out. I can honestly say that it is so much less taxing to work. The last 3 weeks when I went to work, I didn't work nearly has hard as I do here at home. I almost feel like I need to go to work to get a vacation from all the stuff I have to do here. I miss work. I miss paychecks. :S
It is good to have the freedom and flexiblity to run here and there when Brannon calls and needs something, or Laurel calls, or Christina calls. I am doing alot of picking up and dropping off.
What else is new? I can't think of anything. Yesterday I watched a few wedding shows on TLC or whatever channel I had the tv on. Craziness I say. Brannon has no idea how easy he's getting off. Hee hee. We are having a wedding at our new home. I already have my dress. And any money that I spend to decorate will be in the backyard. Buckets of flowers in pots lining our new patio. I might plant a few trees. I would like a pear tree and a maple tree. Beyond that I haven't given it much thought. I would like hostas sprinkled throughout the yard. They say that hostas need shade, but I've had them out in full sun and have never had a problem. In fact, it seems when they are in full sun they do better. Maybe it was just the variety of hosta that I had.
The kids had juggling last night. They juggled during halftime at a girls bball game at Glendale high. It's too bad that the sound system wouldn't play Coach D's music. But it was still really good.
That's all that's new right now. Nothing much really. Still playing the hurry up and wait game with the house and the closing date. As of right now, we are scheduled to close on Feb. 21. We want to move that up to the 15th if we can. But you never know with the VA loan if they are going to slow that down or not. Hurry up and wait...
