Had a busy weekend, but it was fun. Saturday I went with Mike to his companies family pinic. It was huge. Had tons of rides and games for the kids. Great food. Paul Mueller made their own root beer as well. It was good. The kids had fun. After that we went and Jake picked up a new bike. He had one that was giving him nothing but problems. He told us he didn't want to use the money they had given him back on another bike, that he wanted other stuff. I said no to that. So he got another bike, and now he does nothing but ride it around. That's great.

Sunday went to church. I sang at church. It was good. Then Brannon and I went to Fair Grove to the craft thing. We had a good time. I'm exposing him to things of the Ozarks. He had never been to Cider Days, never been to Fair Grove. There are lots of things to do around these parts, you just have to be dialed into it. There is more to life than tv and...other stuff. Then Sunday night we had our church carnival. We had a really good turnout, and the rain held off until about 5 minutes after we were done. That was God. His work was being done, and He completely had a hand in that. Angie asked me to sing again at the carnival, so I did that. It's a good thing Doug forgot to give me my song back.

I got alot of questions about the nose piercing. I really don't understand what the big deal is.

So, my day today. I have the test, which we already talked about. I am meeting Nancy at 3 and we are going walking again. I need to water all my plants. My roses are blooming again and they are simply beautiful. I took the kids to school this morning and when I got home the dogs had broken my gate, so I had to go outside and fix that. Damn dogs. The house is a wreck from the weekend. Tha always happens. I did start cleaning my closet out this weekend, so that is a tad more managable. I am ready to just light a match and start over. I don't understand why I struggle so. How hard can it be? Geeeze!!!!

I don't want to talk about cleaning my house. HOW BORING. There are so many better things to be thinking/writing about. There are just better things to be DOING!! Cleaning house and laundry are not one of them. This spot should be a place to talk about my hopes and dreams and fears, and all that juicy stuff. Not laundry. Ok, I'm done with that.

We should be starting to practice our Christmas program at church next week. I'm curious to see what our director has picked out for us. It's always wonderful. That's something to look forward to. I am ready for the cooler weather as well. Not sure I am so excited about all the leaves that will be falling in my yard, but we go through this every year. Good thing Mike has a pickup, I'm going to need to borrow it to get all these crazy leaves to the dump.

I guess I should get off here, the test isn't going to be studyed for on its own, although it would be nice.
