Packing

Friday the inspection for the house was done and everything came back good. We are going to go over that tonight with Laurel. We also got the appraisal back on Friday. It appraised at more than we are buying the house for, which is always good. Yesterday Brannon and I went to the homeshow downtown and got some really good ideas. We were mainly interested in the fireplace stuff. The house has two fireplaces. We are thinking about putting in one insert and one pellet stove. We need to live in the house for awhile and decided where we want each one. Is it going to be easier to store the wood near the walk out basement or more on the top floor. These are questions we won't be able to answer until we've actually lived in the house for awhile. And that' fine, because to put in both inserts is going to cost us about 5 thousand dollars. That's a lot of money, and you don't want to get hastey and then a year later wish you had put the pellet stove upstairs when you actually had put it downstairs. Today we ordered a pod and it is sitting in the driveway now. I have already started loading it up with boxes that I packed over the weekend. I'm hoping that we can close sometime next week. In the meantime, I can pace myself with the packing and the cleaning. Once I get a few boxes packed up, then I take them out to the pod. I can go at my own speed and this way I don't have to try to move everything all at once on moving day. Those pod ideas are great.
Since it is going to be 70 today I hate to waste the warm weather. Packing up here I come.
