As of today I am minus a marriage, ie, I'm offically divorced. I am also minus a uterus, ie, I had my hysterectomy. What I do have now is many many lovely bruises. My right hand where they placed the IV is very sore today. Strange that I am a week and 2 days post surgery and NOW I am just starting to feel pain. My right hand hurts so much it's hard to even grip a pen. My incision sights are really bothering me. The wounds are starting to heal, and it's pulling and tugging. Last night, sitting in class for 3 hours hurt. When I got home from class Brannon massaged my incision sights for awhile, trying to work out the kinks. I have been sleeping on my heating pad since I got home from the hospital. Despite all of this, I still feel 100 times better than I did before the surgery. I tire very easily. Doing a load of laundry and going to class exhaust me. I continue to push myself (not hard, but as a way to build up my strength again) as much as is comfortable. I am very frustrated with my limitations right now. I can drive, so for that I am extremely grateful. I saw Dr. Stein every day last week except Wednesday. Saw him Monday, surgery. Saw him Tuesday, he released me from the hospital. Saw him Thursday, his day off, when I developed a blood clot after I sneezed. Saw him Friday in the office so he could check my hemoglobin. Saw him yesterday. Will see him again next Tuesday. It's alot of togetherness. I am so extremely grateful that he is my doctor. He is one of those ones that always truely has his patients best interests at heart. He always goes the extra mile as well.

I feel differently about everything than I thought I would. It's all good. I am healing inside and out.
