It was a lovely weekend. Friday night Brannon took me out to dinner. We even had room for desert, which we shared. It was called gooie butter cake. It was so sinful and delightful. After that we hit Shultz and Dooleys for a couple of drinks. He got to see some of his friends, the regulars at the bar. We both agreed that we saved each other from very wrong paths that we were heading down. He was finding himself at the bar far too often, and I was dating alot of men, and it could have gone south real quick. After that we drove around in his new truck and saw the sights.
Saturday Brannon worked and I picked up his niece. They aren't blood related, he just calls her that. He's her godfather, or something to that affect. None-the-less, her and I had a girl day. We got our nails done. We had lunch together. We ran some errands. Then we went to Jake's birthday party. He played laser tag with his friends. That was alot of fun. After that he had a sleep over at his father's house. I'm glad it wasn't here at the house. The house is a never ending wreck. I just can't seem to get my head out of my ass enough to get this place cleaned up. Brannon and I went to Cartoons Saturday night for a late dinner. I don't even remember what we did Saturday night. Oh yeah, he worked late, when he got to my place we ended up having a long conversation about the day and stuff like that, and before we got out of here to eat, it was 9. By 10 I was so tired he just took me home and I went to bed.
Sunday we went to church and then after church he went and signed the lease to his new place. So, it is offical, it's his. He can move the first of November. We are both very excited about his new place. He'll have a garage for his motorcycle, and a fenced in back yard for his dog. And there is alot of space in the duplex.
After he signed his lease we did some shopping at Lowes. I bought a large area rug to hopefully protect the carpet. I am having to professionally clean it every 3 months. It sucks. Hopefully the rug will help. We also looked at furniture. We sat on some couches, I didn't like any of them. That's ok, I can't afford them right now anyway. Then I went to choir practice. When I got home, Brannon had cooked these wonderful steaks and had a complete meal waiting for me. Talk about being spoiled. I could get used to that kind of treatment.
I got up early this morning and moved all my furniture, waiting for the cartpet cleaners to show up. Then I thought to myself, I don't have a clue which day this week I made the appointment for. I thought it was Monday, so I called. I made it for Tuesday. So, I am upset with myself. I am really not a very bright person. So, yeah. Anyway, I have a feeling that is how this day is going to go. In the meantime, I need to get ready for class...
